Sally hopes to bring a fresh perspective to the role of Chairperson. RoW was initially started to protect the green belt, to work together to improve the town and assist in offering a more connected community. These are values Sally feels she can support by working with all members of RoW with the aim of making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents.
Sally thanked the group for the opportunity to serve as Chairperson. “I appreciate the prospect of leading RoW and I am looking forward to working collaboratively with our dedicated team and community partners to advance our aims. I am very keen to encourage the residents to get involved with the community by supporting RoW, so please contact us on sallylharrison5@gmail.com or on the Residents of Wilmslow Facebook page if you would like to discuss how you could get involved in the future.
As the outgoing chairperson, Roger Bagguley, said “I reflect with gratitude and pride on the journey we have undertaken together over recent years. Serving in this capacity has been a privilege and one that I have embraced wholeheartedly, and I am looking forward to taking up the role of Vice Chairperson and supporting Sally in her new role”.
