LATA ANDERSON

An IT professional who has lived in Wilmslow for over 25 years, Lata has been an active member of both Cheshire East and Wilmslow Town Council.

She has been very effective on both councils, initiating schemes likes the Christmas Ice Rink, the monthly Ukrainian Café for refugees living in the town, free
family bus passes during half-term and improving how the town council communicates with residents.

She has also proposed renewing the Villas
playground, which is awaiting approval from the town council. Her plans for Dean Row are to push for a full repair of Dean Row Road, including the cycle &
pedestrian paths and to restore the winter gritting to Pinewood Road too.

In addition, she is also very active with Transition Wilmslow, Wilmslow Civic Trust and the Community Market Garden.
