From the Wilmslow Neighbourhood Plan idea to encourage our culture and visitors to the town, RoW has implemented six history boards across the town via the Town Council. 

With valuable input from our local community groups, the subjects include Alan Turing, Lindow Pete, Romany and prominent Wilmslow women including Helen Tilson, a suffragette.

Town Mayor RoW Cllr Sally Harrison unveiled three of the boards near the library with representatives from the community groups.  The boards have received widespread acclaim including one quote: “it shows the growing civic pride in the town”.

But we want to do more so if you have a suggestion for a further subject and possible location please let us know.
